Open and competitive applications for AEI are typically held every 2 years.
Grant Agreements operate on the fiscal year, from July 1 - June 30.

Participants must be entered in your programs AEI data spreadsheet.
All participants must complete an AEI Student Agreement at the time of enrollment.
Eligibility:
✔️ Boston Residency: Must collect eligibility documentation such as utility bill, govt. ID, BPS ID or report card
✔️ Age 16-24: At time of enrollment
AEI invoicing is based on a performance payment structure:
1st Invoice: 50% of award paid upon contract execution

Subsequent Invoices: Performance payment rate based on number of enrollments or High school equivalency/ Diploma completion

*Enrollment outcomes must be new enrollments (not eligible outcome for carry-in participants)
The following reporting is required for AEI grantees:
Data by Client AEI Spreadsheet - update with participant demographics and outcomes. (fields highlighted green are required.)
Narrative Quarterly Report Submit quarterly via google form, new link emailed quarterly.
OWD conducts monitoring throughout the grant to provide support and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitoring may consist of:
Site Visits: Conducted in person or virtually
Administrative Review: Evaluates timeliness and accuracy of reporting, contracting, and invoicing
Performance Review: Compares performance goals and projections to actual outcomes
