Wim Hof Method Workshop
I practice the Wim Hof Method and set up a Team Building Workshop for the staff at my school. Staff were educated on the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method of Mindset, Breath work and Cold Exposure. Feedback on the experience was hugely positive and there are many members of the staff body who have attended the centre in Bangkok.
15 Year Anniversary Celebration
The 15 Year Anniversary of Bangkok Prep was celebrated with a large scale school wide event which I helped to design, develop and deliver as Faculty Leader of the Creative Arts team. This event was a hugely collaborative event across the Creative Arts team, including a Photography and Art exhibition, the first of its kind at Bangkok Prep, along with a Musical and Dramatic performance concert.
Year 6 Transition - Light Painting
As part of the transition programme from Year 6 Primary into Year 7 Secondary I have often run a photography workshop to engage and excite Primary students.
Photography ECA
I have run a Digital Photography Club to enable students to explore their creativity outside of lesson time. This was particularly popular with students in KS3 who wanted the opportunity to study Photography as a subject before the options process for KS4.
House Crests
The brief was to develop a creative collaborative arts project that would engage all students in the school community and leave a lasting legacy. I led the planning, design and delivery of the 'House Crests' project which culminated in four huge collaged pieces which still hang proudly in our Sports Hall.
FOBISIA Environmental Conference - Exploring the Environment through Photography
The Primary Eco Team wanted support to develop an event that encouraged students to engage with the surrounding environment in new and creative ways. Photography was used as a tool to explore nature and produce artworks that were displayed in an exhibition at the end of the two day event.
Conceptual Learning Environments
I was tasked with producing concepts for developing the learning environments at Bangkok Prep as we moved to a new campus and were faced with a real blank canvas. The concept of these design ideas was to create an interactive environment that encouraged students to interact with their surrounding environment in a more creative and inspiring way.
Art in Meditation
I volunteered to deliver an Art in Meditation session at Bangkok Prep's most recent PSHE Drop Down Day. Students were coached on how to breathe more effectively to promote a sense of calm and well-being which was then combined with mindful drawing activities.
