The Way Back Home
The Way Back Home
This term, the children will be learning the fantastic adventure story 'The Way Back Home' by Oliver Jeffers. By learning new vocabulary and language from a revised version of the text, our students will be able to adapt and innovate the story to create their own story about a journey. We will look at key features including the beginning, middle and end of a story alongside time order words, connectives and conjunctions.
We've been thinking all about verbs and nouns. We have also been thinking about past tense verbs. Try the activities here which all focus on verbs and nouns. The original story of The Way Back Home can be seen below.
