Enrichment Activities

Welcome to the Enrichment Activities section of our Virtual School, designed to provide a range of co-curricular opportunities for your child(ren) to engage in learning outside of the curriculum and develop their learning skills in other ways. We'll be utilising a range of fantastic resources, giving our students different options to choose from. These activities can be completed in their own time and at their own pace...all we ask is that they share their experiences with us in some way. This might be through Seesaw, Google Classroom, or our Global Campus platform.

Global Campus

Being a Nord Anglia Education school, our students are connected to thousands of other students across our 69 schools through our Global Campus. Now, more than ever, this online platform is a great way to connect with other students and share some of the experiences our students are having.

Follow the information below for how to get involved and log on for each campus.

Activities

Click on GC Junior in the top left corner for activities created for the Under 8s.

Elements Projects

Each project is based around a different theme from feelings, to creating cupcakes, to learning about jobs, with a new theme every month. There are 'how-to' videos, practising activities, and opportunities to build or create something new. At the end of each project is a space for children to share (with a parent or teacher's help!) their learning from the project, and they can see what children across our other schools have also been up to.

Story Sacks

Story Sacks may be used by class teachers or parents can use them with their child(ren). Look inside each sack to find a reading of a well-loved book performed by one of our NAE teachers. There are fun learning activities to go with each book and new sacks become available each week.

Junior Forest School and Curiosity Corner

Both of these areas share a new activity each week in a fallen leaf or a floating balloon. Activities range from exploring nature and the natural world, to science experiments that you can do at home, to creating delicious recipes. Children can post their responses to the challenges by clicking the white cross in a red circle icon.

Junior and Secondary Campus - GC Core

To take part in the activities, students simply log on to Global Campus following the instructions below. Students should submit their evidence directly to the Global Campus page and see what other students around the world have completed.

The activities here are split into different categories and are aimed at students from 8 to 14 years old. Students can access these activities themselves and share their learning through the platform.

Some of these activities will be set as Weekly Wellbeing challenges or co-curricular activities.
