Dear BIS HCMC Community,
Welcome to our Virtual School hub, a gateway to all you need to know about getting the most from the learning environment we find ourselves in.
Having evolved greatly from the first period of online learning lasting, the offerings available to our students are truly world-class. From face-to-face sessions on a number of platforms to Seesaw activities, Google Classrooms, and the incredible tactile experiences offered through our SPLAT boxes for our EYFS children, we are committed to providing a learning experience that is rich in variety, and yet robust in outcomes.

It is important to note that we are ever conscious of the need to move away from the simple term e-learning, and move further towards what NAE class as the Virtual School by providing tasks that get students off devices as much as is feasible.
One of the best ways of ensuring this happens is by engaging the whole family wherever possible. Whilst we are trying to create learners who are independent, we are also aware that during this time of uncertainty, getting together as a family is also vital. We are also very aware that online safety is vital during this period of increased screen time.
