Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefintion (SAMR) is a framework through which teachers and administrators evaluate the level of rigor crafted into technology-based lessons and assignments. SAMR assesses how higher-order thinking skills and the Thinking Pathways framework are incorporated into lesson delivery and assignments.
