About us

The Early NeuroCognitive Development Team is located in the Department of Psychology at Binghamton University - Science IV building.

We use developmental cognitive neuroscience methods to learn how human brains and cognitive functions develop across the lifespan. Our projects focus on the development of face processing abilities and their interactions with other cognitive domains (e.g., language, attention). Researches in the Early NeuroCognitive Development team are working to better understand how we learn from others and develop social communication skills.

We are thankful for the privilege of working with the participating families, who are scientists with us for one day!

Our research is multidisciplinary by nature. We interact with researchers with different backgrounds within and outside psychology.

We strive to promote diversity in our team and research projects. We aim for science to be inclusive of historically excluded minorities, and will do our part in this.

Our research team aims to develop a supportive environment to promote everyone's professional growth and contribution to science.

We believe in open science and will work in making our research accessible to a broad audience.
