Dr. Stefania Conte is the leader of the ENCoDE Team and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Binghamton University. As a developmental cognitive neuroscientist her research program investigates how neural maturation and the interactions between multiple cognitive domains (e.g., visual perception, attention, emotion and language processing) define the aspects of social communication.
Tringa is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive and Brain Sciences. She joined the ENCoDe team because she is interested in developmental research. In her spare time, she enjoys attending yoga and pilates classes. She hopes to work in translational research.
Olive is the ENCoDe lab manager and graduated with her BA in psychology from Radford University. She joined the lab because of her interest in cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging methods. Outside of the lab, she enjoys rock climbing, running, and playing board games with friends. She plans to get her Ph.D. in psychology.
Sara Hagan is currently pursuing a BA degree in Psychology at Binghamton University. She joined the ENCoDe team because of her interest in researching child development and clinical psychology. In her personal time, she volunteers for local Binghamton County events, and enjoys reading and drawing. She aspires to achieve a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Alison is currently pursuing a BA degree in Psychology and minoring in Forensic Health. She joined the ENCoDe team because of her interest in research on child development. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her friends. She hopes to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology.
Fareeza Mostafa
Fareeza is currently pursuing a BS in Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Education. She joined the ENCoDe team because of her interest in child development and a desire for hands-on experience in clinical neuroscience. In her spare time, Fareeza enjoys practicing calisthenics, writing, creating 3D models, and exploring new hobbies. While her current aspiration is to become a Surgical Neurophysiologist, she remains eager to explore diverse career pathways in the field.
Clarissa Pagoada
Clarissa is currently pursuing a BS degree in Integrative Neuroscience at Binghamton University and minoring in Spanish. She joined the ENCoDe team because of her interest in child development and vision. In her free time she is an avid swimmer, enjoys reading, and volunteers as an EMT. In the future, she plans to pursue a career in the medical field.
