Join the ML Coaches in sharpening your skills using SIOP methods to support our Multilingual students! This is a great opportunity to explore practical, research-based strategies that make content more accessible while promoting language development. Collaborate with colleagues, deepen your understanding of effective instruction, and create inclusive, engaging classrooms where every student can thrive.

K-5 Professional Development Dates & Sign-Up Links

Half day training (8:30-11:30) on introductory, practical strategies, resources, and insights to support Mulitlingual students in k-5 classrooms.

Half day training on practical strategies, resources, and insights to support newcomer students with limited English (level 1s)

Full day training on all 8 SIOP components (the district's chosen method for supporting our EL/ML students.) This option covers A LOT in a short amount of time. This is a good way to get an overview and find out if you want to learn more and get some individualized coaching.

3 Full days of training, covering all components of SIOP. This allows for a deeper exploration of each component, more example and time to practice your skills!
