Touch Data/Tech Apps is designed to develop technology skills with applications to personal or business situations. Touch Data Systems/Tech Apps focuses on keyboarding technique, word processing, desktop publishing, production of business documents, networking and the internet.

Although not required, it is highly suggested to take Touch Data prior to taking BIM 1 at the high school due to the amount of typing required.

The only difference between the two courses: Touch Data will use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Tech Apps will use Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides when it comes to the production of business files.
