Honors ELA

Honors RLA is a rigorous, yet rewarding course that incorporates higher-level thinking. Students in this course are expected to be responsible, organized, self-motivated, and have good time management skills. Students will have weekly homework, and a summer reading assignment, and will partake in group critical analysis of literary works. Participation in Honors RLA courses in seventh and eighth grade helps to prepare students for advanced high school RLA courses such as AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, and AP Seminar.
