Atmospheric Testing

Calibrations need to take place every six months.

Turn on Your Monitor

  • Turn on by pushing and holding the Green button. (OK) button.

  • Hold until countdown is complete.

  • Let it warm up for at least 5 minutes.

  • Watch the start up screen and it will give you a count down for how many days you have left until it needs to be calibrated again.

Fresh Air Calibration

  • Push the Blue button 3 times.

  • The screen will change to show a fan, hit the green button.

  • You are now in fresh air. It will go back to the main screen when done.

Calibrate

  • Press and hold the blue button. The screen will show 000.

  • Press the OK button, it will go to the next 0, press the OK button. It will go to the next number, press the blue button once, it will change to a 1. Press the OK button. It needs to read 001.

  • The next screen will have a fan, that is for fresh air, if you have not done it, press OK. After it is done, drop down to the icon that looks like a wheel chair. That is the calibration mode.

  • Once you have the instrument in a cradle or a hood, push the OK button, (turn on cal gas if doing it with a hood).

  • Once all sensor read OK, it is time to take it out. Please let it go through the alarms, it is ready for use.

Turn off your monitor

  • Press and hold both buttons, it will count down and shut off.
