Compassion resilience is the ability to maintain your own well-being while still responding compassionately to the suffering of others. It involves being able to maintain empathy, strength, and hope while facing adversity. Educators are oftentimes prone to developing "compassion fatigue" as a result of caring for their students, colleagues, family, and selves, and our goal to to build our resilience to this to ensure we can bring our best self into our classrooms to serve our students.
