Beads
(New).
I found them on a tree
(late).
I was skipping school
(Gym).
Two strands, pearly
(white)
one after another
(darker).
They are different
(longer)
(newer).
Hanging in branches
(tree).
I split them
(joined).
I tied them together
(twist).
I rub the plastic-soft beads
(rosary)
and wind them in my hand
(texture)
and wrap them round my arm
(rows)
and whip them round my waist
(hurts).
Run against itself it makes a sound
(croak)
(maracas).
I pull them on my elbow
(tight)
and hold them in my fingers
(digging).
They twist easily
(knotting)
(fraying)
(leaving)
as I tie them round my hand
(for another day).
