wisdom: knowledge of things that matter
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." -Benjamin Franklin
Announcements for this Week:
If you haven't already filled out the paperwork from Meet the Teacher and turned it in, please do that as soon as possible! If you weren't at Meet the Teacher, that paperwork went home TODAY. So please check your child's backpack for those things!
Homework went home TODAY. There is a math page and a math facts page. There is NO spelling or grammar homework for tonight.
Create a quiet and consistent work routine for your child. Having the same routine each day will help with consistency!
Encourage your child to work independently as much as possible. We really are working on responsibility in 3rd grade, and this creates consistency between home and school.
Check your child's work. Please scan over the work to check for accuracy and completeness. Sign the yellow slip so I know you've done this!
Encourage your child to pack his or own bag afterwards to continue practicing responsibility.
Please be mindful of dresscode! No leggings may be worn as pants, and shorts/dresses must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
Please send your child in with a water bottle! It's hot and we want them to stay nice and hydrated. The room is also kept a cool temperature and the students may want to bring in a light sweater or jacket to wear in class.
