Paris is my favorite city in the world. No matter how many times you go there, there is always something new to discover, and around every corner, more breathtaking beauty. It's a city full of history, art, architecture, cuisine, fashion and culture. Some of my favorite things about Paris are: Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle (and its gorgeous stain glass windows), decorated store windows at Christmas, live jazz, all the art museums, having a picnic along the Seine, walking through the winding streets of Montmartre, the Cluny museum (artifacts from the Middle Ages), the basement of the Louvre, the food (!), the different Holocaust sites, the Eiffel Tower sparkling at midnight, Versailles, pastry shops, walking through the cemetery Père Lachaise (you will understand when you see photos below), Luxembourg Gardens, and way too many other places/things to mention!

If you are interested in the Holocaust, Paris has many sites to see that are deeply moving and sacred. If you were lucky enough to come here my guest speaker last year, Charlotte, you might remember her mentioning that when she returned to Paris, she found her mother's name on the walls of this memorial. You can visit the museum's website here:
An absolute see in Paris, and one of my all-time favorite sites to see, is the incredible Sainte Chapelle, built by Saint Louis IX. The stained glass windows are unreal, as you will see in this video:
I also love Notre Dame, and my heart broke (along with the rest of the world) when I found out it was on fire. Here is quick video with some before and after shots of this world treasure:
