Here you will find useful resources to help you with your French. Let me know if you need something besides what you find here and I'll do my best to find what you need and add it to this page!

1. Word Reference

The first and most important thing you will need is a good dictionary. As you know, you are NOT ALLOWED TO USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE (or any other translator) in my classes, so you will need to rely on a good online dictionary. Word Reference is awesome, and gives you pronunciation, gender, examples and lots of different contexts. You can use English --> French as well as French --> English.

2. Lawless French

Another great site for all things French grammar is Lawless French. Search here for any grammar questions you might have and I guarantee you'll find something helpful!

3. TV 5 Monde

A great site to practice French is TV5 Monde. This site has videos complete with vocab exercises, comprehension quizzes, and more. Check it out and use it!

4. Français Façile

Here is a great site for grammar explanations and practice in 100% French.

5. Tex's French Grammar

Another useful site from the University of Texas at Austin that has all sorts of practice and helpful information!

6. Bon Patron

Bon Patron is an online corrector for your writing and will be extremely useful to you!

7. Huffington Post

Here is the french newspaper, Le Huffington Post. The reading level is not too difficult and is a great way to beef up your vocabulary and comprehension!

8. Le Monde

If you would like a more challenging newspaper to read than the Huffington Post, try reading Le Monde.

9. Français Avec Pierre

Français Avec Pierre is an excellent YouTube channel for learners of French. He speaks 100% French and speaks very slowly so you can understand. He covers everything from language to travel to culture.
