Experiencing Cal! is a Cal Athletics initiative where Cal Student-Athletes volunteer to support positive, early college experiences at UC Berkeley in collaboration with school partners here in the East Bay.

Get Involved as a Team or an Individual

Early college awareness and exposure to college experiences at a young age, especially in connection with near-peer relatable role models, can increase students’ confidence in their ability to attend, and be successful in college - particularly for students who are the first in their family to go to college.

Through intentional collaboration with school partners, and connecting student-athletes and young people through sport, we aim to increase the number of young people from Title I schools who have an early positive college campus experience here at Cal.
