Tips for Success on Saturday:
The most important thing to bring is your sense of humor; yes, it might rain, and it might be 90 degrees- we live in New England, so we should be prepared for it all.
Bring binder clips; it will be windy. It is your responsibility to make sure that we look professional at all times, which includes not running after sheet music in the wind. Your music may not be loose in a folder; it needs to be in a binder.
If you have a marching instrument (or beginner level instrument), please feel free to use that. Wooden instruments should be extra careful about any extreme temperatures. Please contact me if you have a wooden instrument so we can talk through any concerns you have.
No heels allowed on the turf; flat shoes only.
Bring your own water to have on hand throughout the morning.
Be flexible and have fun no matter what!
This is by far our most public performance of the year. Let's give them a great send-off! I am looking forward to a joyful morning of music as we celebrate our seniors!
