Performing Arts
At BIS, we offer a comprehensive and dynamic performing arts programme, designed to engage students in music, drama, and dance in an active, creative, and collaborative environment. Beyond weekly in-class lessons, students have opportunities to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, including marimba group (as a music extension), elective singing masterclasses, orchestra, rock bands, whole-school singing, choir, chamber groups, and multiple dance and drama opportunities throughout the year.
Our Dance and Drama programme is led by Dr. David Zeitner, whose wealth of experience continues to elevate our students' performance skills. Dr. Zeitner fosters a nurturing and challenging environment for students to advance their abilities in both dance and drama.
The Music Department is directed by Ms. Helene Piper, who leads both the in-class curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular groups, ensuring students are supported in their musical growth.
