Chamber Groups at BIS

BIS offers dedicated time slots for smaller music ensembles, such as duos or trios, where classical music students can come together to rehearse and perform high-level pieces of their choosing. These groups provide an opportunity for students to collaborate in a more intimate setting, refine their performance skills, and gain valuable experience in ensemble playing.

Eligibility and Expectations:

• To participate, students must have completed a minimum of Grade 5 on their instrument.

• Students should expect to work closely with their instrumental teacher to prepare their chosen pieces and are expected to practice regularly at home to ensure optimal progress and performance.

Performances:
Chamber groups will have the opportunity to showcase their pieces at school performances, allowing students to demonstrate their musical development and share their work with the school community.
