BHS GOALS FOR OUR STUDENTS:

Students work on the skills of INITIATIVE, COLLABORATION, and PERSEVERANCE. Students work on EMPATHY, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, COMPASSION. STUDENTS WORK ON CITIZENSHIP, LOYALTY, and SERVICE. Students need our FULL support - Both PARENTS and TEACHERS.

MISSION:

The Student Services Department recognizes the importance of close collaboration between students, teachers, parents, counselors, community organizations. At every stage of the high school experience, we work together to enhance student learning capabilities and foster a spirit of community service and a sense of belonging in our students. To prepare them for life beyond high school, we design targeted programs to open the doors to future educational, career, and leadership opportunities. In the end, our goal is to help graduate well-rounded young people who can move confidently to the next level of their education, building on the solid foundation they obtained at Belize High School.

This approach will help students make connections to many disciplines and real-world experiences.

They develop mindsets and skills for success in college, career, and life. They become ethical people: treating others well and standing up for what is right. They contribute to a better world, putting their learning to improve our communities.
