Freshman & Sophomore Spanish with Ms. Carcamo
Finding similarities between languages, sharing languages with another person, watching foreign programs, traveling or working in another country are some of the fantastic things you can access if you learn another language. Here at BHS, ALL students are granted the opportunity to learn Spanish. The best way to learn Spanish is by practicing it! That's the reason I have compromised myself to make lessons FUN for all students to participate and learn in a fun environment. Below are some picture of a couple activities done by Freshmen and Sophomore students.
Lessons are designed so that students practice their Spanish based on real world scenarios.
Students are provided with the right tools to succeed in the lessons. (Vocabulary, grammar, exposure)
Lessons are made relatable to their everyday experiences. (Talking about food, clothing, family, vacations)
As Sophomores, students are exposed to advanced grammar which will improve their oral communication skills.
Both Sophomores and Freshmen are exposed to the language by preparing oral presentations such as interviews.
Students shared a little about themselves.
Students shared a picture and a description of their work areas.
Students shared their nationality and the language they speak.
