Welcome to a Whole New BEC-TV!

Well, OK not EVERYTHING is new.

All the fun, excitement, and challenge of TV production, and a whole lot of the staff and fellow students you've come to love are still the same. And our mascot MurphyDog still hangs around a lot.

But there's enough new that - if you've been around BEC a while - You'd best check out everything in this edition of Tech Update or you'll be in the dark.

And if you're new... well gee, you're probably in the dark anyway, right?

Let's work on fixing that! Read On!

CHECKLIST of "STEPS NEXT":

• BEC BASICS: If you were not at this fall's Kickoff, sign up for an upcoming BEC Basics. (This is REQUIRED for all techs, even one's who have been around a while!)
• The HUB: Log into your BPS Hub. You SHOULD see an activity on your class list with advisor Thomas Ringdal. Don't see it? Contact us and we'll work to fix it.
• TechTeams Form: Fill out the TechTeams Form. Do this even if you are NOT planning to be on a TechTeam so we know what you're thinking. Do this REALLY quick, as we gotta get those teams rolling, like yesterday!
• Sign up for Shoots: On the BEC Shoots and Events calendar (now available on your BPS Hub and on the BEC Tech Portal) you need to take action for EACH event and indicate whether OR NOT you'll be at that.
