EdTech Tools and Best Practices
EdTech Best Practices
Here at Beaumont Unified School District our three EdTech Best Practices are to break down learning barriers, practice and apply skills, and build digital skills to demonstrate mastery of content standards. When we choose to incorporate technology into our classrooms we want to be able to identify which of these of three practices are at work.
Breaking down learning barriers is about providing accessibility tools that allow students to access grade level content during Tier 1 instruction.
Students use technology to practice or apply standards based skills to demonstrate mastery.
Building digital skills is underscored by digital citizenship at the secondary level. Building digital motor skills is significant at the primary level. These skills include but are not limited to typing, moving the mouse, clicking, and selecting on a trackpap.

Below you'll find our district approved EdTech tools. These tabs offer tutorials on district purchased EdTech tools and ideas on using these tools in your classroom to provide high-quality educational opportunities for our students. Additionally, since we want to promote a collaborative environment at Beaumont USD, teachers will find a place to share the fantastic ways they are using these tools in many sections. So please share and share often! We are always better together!
