11th Grade: 2021-2022

This was getting back to a normal year. Our Junior year was a very interesting one, to say the least. At GO Night we were introduced to the IFCPP. This was pretty confusing to everyone because we were supposed to be in Model UN, not IFCPP. As the year went on, most of us in the JAGS Junior class were getting pretty restless with the situation we were in. As I briefly stated in my Introduction, the goal was to connect globally minded students. My group originally consisted of five people, but that number dwindled to three by the time it was time to present our research, which barely any had been done in the first place. During this whole project, I felt that I was the only one doing any work. I created the outline for our research, and I created the website that would be presented to the KSU professors, (If you would like to view the website that I created I will leave a link for you. sites.google.com/bearworks.jackson.sparcc.org/2022-ifcpp/home ) and I was the only one from my group that showed up to Kent State Stark to present our project. As the presentations went on, I realized that many of the other groups had the same problems that my group had. The whole IFCPP program was a learning experience, and I hope that the more group projects I do go better than that one.

Investigate The World

-Philmont Scout Ranch, Cimarron, New Mexico

Recognize Perspectives

-Henderson Settlement Work Camp, Frakes, Kentucky. I went here for a mission trip with my church. The trip allowed me to see that not everyone in America can afford everything they need. We were there to help out the people living within the area of the Camp.
