Freshman Year: 2019-2020

This was my first year in JAGS. During this year, I had opportunities to participate in service, research, and fun!  My first JAGS project was GO Night. For this project, I partnered up with Kenny Gutierrez-King, who is no longer in JAGS. We researched the countries of China and Qatar. We determined what these two countries had in common, as well as the differences that make them equally unique. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic ended my time with some great teachers.  One of my favorite service projects I participated in during my freshman year was blanket making. Below are some examples of my best work before the world shut down.
