It has been another whirlwind of learning and laughter this week, especially during our "free write" session where the children let their imaginations run wild describing their dream houses—it turns out our class has very high standards, with many dreaming of private chefs, luxury spas, and even indoor ice skating rinks! In Science, we became the plants ourselves by acting out the different parts of a plant, before setting up a fascinating experiment using four different water types to discover which conditions help a plant grow best. In English, we have been busy preparing to write informative letters, while our Geography lessons saw us comparing how rivers have changed and been used throughout different historical periods. Our digital skills reached new heights in Computing as we mastered sending, opening, and responding to email attachments, and over in Spanish, we learned how to say "I am" (Soy) and had a blast playing a high-stakes game of stealing animal cards to see who could collect the most in the class! In PSHE, we had some really important and mature discussions about setting boundaries in friendships and relationships, and in RE, we used "hot seating" to share our personal experiences with celebrations, reflecting on how these special moments help us feel a sense of belonging and togetherness. It has been a week of great progress, deep thinking, and even deeper laughs—well done to all our superstars!
