This week, our young inquirers have stepped into the vibrant landscapes of southwest Kenya through the classic story "Handa’s Surprise" by Eileen Browne. As we dive into our third module, we are using Handa’s journey to explore concepts of friendship, culture, and the natural world. The children have been producing some wonderful pieces of art work around this wonderful story and have also had the chance to taste the fruits in Handa's basket!
In phonics we have been continuing to strengthen our knowledge of initial sounds and in maths we have been looking at patterns of two.
