We are thrilled to share that following our PYP Evaluation Visit this week, all requirements of the PYP have been met!
A massive thank you to our staff, students, parents and the Trust. This success belongs to all of you. The visiting team was deeply impressed, noting that our progress since authorization has been exceptional.
Highlights from the feedback:
Feels like a family: The culture is organic, personal, and supportive.
Invisible Inclusion: Support is so seamless that every child belongs naturally.
Redefined Collaboration: A level of teamwork that is rarely seen.
The evaluators described our cluster as aspirational, where learning is exciting and the principles of lifelong learning have been taken to a new level.
Thank you for making our community such a special place to learn and grow. We look forward to sharing the full report soon in 6-8 weeks once it has been finalised by the IB.Â
The annual Leigh Voice Parent Survey is now open. This survey gives you the opportunity to share your views on your child’s experience at their academy.
Please click the link below to share your thoughts: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PVoice/?Academy=BEAÂ
Please note that responses are anonymous. However, if you choose to leave a specific comment at the end of the survey, your email address will be shared so that the academy can respond.
We read and value every response, using them to inform future planning and actions for our academy. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank you for your continued collaboration and support as our academy grows and evolves.
Unleash your creativity for the Leigh Academies Trust Visual Arts Competition 2026! This is a fantastic opportunity for all students to showcase their artistic talents across a massive range of styles, including sculpture, painting, digital art, animation, photography, and more. Every single entry will be featured in the Trust's grand exhibition, and the winners and runners-up in each category will walk away with exciting prizes, art supplies, and vouchers!
To join the competition, simply take a high-quality photo of your masterpiece and email it to Mrs Ranger at cro@bearsted.latrust.org.uk for the attention of Mr Leach.Â
Make sure to get your entries in before the 23rd February 2026 deadline!
We would like to kindly remind all parents and carers about the importance of keeping our designated disabled parking bays clear for those who need them most.
There are numerous disabled bays situated throughout the Academy car park. These spaces are strictly reserved for vehicles displaying a valid Blue Badge. For many of our families and visitors, these wider, more accessible bays are not a luxury—they are a necessity for a safe and manageable arrival at school.
Thank you for helping us keep our community inclusive and accessible for everyone.Â
A full list of our academy term dates can be found on our website.Â
The Key Dates 2025-2026 document is now available to all parents and carers to view . This list will be subject to change, as dates may be added or amended if required.
