3D: Year One

Year One of 3D Art is the combination of Intro to 3D Art and Advanced 3D Art Level I. Each course lasts one semester and is worth 1 credit each.Typically Intro to 3D Art is offered in the Fall semester with Advanced 3D Art Level I following in the Spring. Students must pass Intro to 3D Art before taking Advanced 3D Art Level I. While Ceramics projects are included in the curriculum, our 3D courses go beyond clay and we explore other materials like plaster, metal foil, linoleum, multimedia, and 3D Design. This curriculum is designed to introduce students to a variety of materials to build a wide range of experience. We also explore creativity and how to design original and unique ideas for our projects.
