2-D: Year One

Year One: At Columbus East High School, students begin with Intro to 2D Art and Adv. 2D Art 1. These are beginner level courses which introduces the basics of the Elements of Art & Principles of Design. Students will learn about colored pencils, Sharpie, collage, tempera paint, watercolor, and tie-dye. Students will learn about a variety of artists and how to talk about their artwork. We emphasize creative problem solving in our work and embrace a variety of skills! This class welcomes all level of learners!
