Let's reflect on all the excellent performances by City School students this year as we start the year! Here is a winning dance performance of "The Princess and the Frog" by dance director Yovanni Markland's team at Baltimore Poly Technical Institute.
New York Ballet Instructor Aesha Ash wanted to investigate the power of imagery in dance.
She developed the Swan Dreams Project to tell her story and the story of young African American children through images of themselves. She says that "I wanted to show the world that beauty is not reserved for one particular raceor socioeconomic background."
