FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT SKILLS - Here are some of the skills I'd like you to practice in Term 3
Parents - These are skills to practice in PE time. There is a video showing how the skill should be performed. Students can watch the video to get an idea of how the skill should be performed.
Kindergarten only need to work on the first 4 skills.
I have also attached a document that shows the elements, how to practice and common errors.
A lot of the games we would use for these involve large groups, but for now, students should practice the skills in order to help their progression.

Practice Sprint
Do of your Daily Physical Activities and include a sprint where possible
If you have siblings, you could play some games outside that involve sprinting (there are some on the sheet here)
If you have limited space, you may need to practice technique on the spot, and wait until you have a chance to run outside.

LESSON
Use the Mascot Challenge activities below. If you don't have a partner, try and use a wall. Bounce on the ground if you have to.
If you don't have a ball, you can use a rolled up pair of socks to throw and catch.
If this work is too easy, challenge yourself by changing the speed, distance, direction etc.
