Chirag headed Project Street’o’preneurs (his own brainchild), created and managed the website, led the technical, design and media teams for Enactus Christ Fest 2018 before being promoted to the position of Secretary in his 1st year. Being the youngest ever appointed secretary of the organisation, he sensed the necessity for better management of the Project portfolio of Enactus CHRIST and the various departments of student volunteers. He established a data-driven mechanism for decision making by putting forward and executing a point-based appraisal MIS for the organisation using google sheets and drive. He created integrated mechanisms for meeting attendance, task-based scoring for individual and team success reports, with uninterrupted attention to his Project under which, the team successfully pulled of a country-wide survey of street vendors in 14 cities and came up with innovative ways to organise the street vending businesses.
Chirag worked as a photographer and editing volunteer at the department's media team. He initiated diversification of the team which was initially only into clicking pictures, to making various videos for the departmental events, including Esprit, Thrive, Vistas et cetera. He established standards of work and delivery of pictures faster through cloud sharing. He made a team portfolio website and organised a media database for the department. He contributed ideas to market the team within the University, and brought together photography as a separate event in the department for intra-college cultural fest, Blossoms.
Chirag was a media volunteer for various university events such as Nritta and Darpan. He worked for crowd management during ethnic day and Bhasha Utsav and helped in organising art and literature events for college fests.
Chirag participated in nature-walks, chat-over-coffee and blood donation events. As a part of the CSA team for the event Taped, he directed a documentary on the issues and problems faced by street vendors that won the competition. He contributed pictures for the CSA magazines – Milan and We Care.
Chirag planned for and organised finances and flows for events, such as Keystone, Bid & Build, Ascend et cetera. He helped in recruitment for the new academic session and worked for the flagship event of E-cell - Edify as a media volunteer.
Upholding the highest rank of School Captain, Chirag created and executed various team building events for the council members and the entire school to reinforce belief in school’s objectives and motto. He organised and coordinated all student activities and participation of the students for sports and cultural programs and competitions. He took initiative for starting the monitors meet to identify the problems faced by the students and solving their grievances.
Chirag held the position of Treasurer at Interact Club at school. He managed collection and disposal of funds for the initiatives of Interact club which include blood donation camps, Christmas celebrations for poor kids and the communal harmony week.
