Enactus is an international, Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. It provides a platform for teams of outstanding university students to create community development projects that put people’s own ingenuity and talents at the centre of improving their livelihoods. Their work transforms both the lives of the people they serve, and in turn the lives of students, as they develop into more effective, value-driven leaders.
Chirag headed Project Street’o’preneurs (his own brainchild), created and managed the website, led the technical, design and media teams for Enactus Christ Fest 2018 before being promoted to the position of Secretary in his 1st year. Being the youngest ever appointed secretary of the organisation, he sensed the necessity for better management of the Project portfolio of Enactus CHRIST and the various departments of student volunteers. He established a data-driven mechanism for decision making by putting forward and executing a point-based appraisal MIS for the organisation using google sheets and drive. He created integrated mechanisms for meeting attendance, task-based scoring for individual and team success reports, with uninterrupted attention to his Project under which, the team successfully pulled of a country-wide survey of street vendors in 14 cities and came up with innovative ways to organise the street vending businesses.
The Snappers

Team Snappers consists of well motivated photographers, each one having a unique perspective when it comes to clicking pictures. Sony, Nikon or Canon, the team has a fantastic range of cameras, lenses, lights, flash, tripods and they know jugaad well enough to get the equipment they require for different needs. A variety of talent flows in from each individual and creates a pool of unexplorable possibilities and innovation when it comes to going a notch higher every time. Apart from photography their skill sets include Editing (Photo & Video), Graphic Designing, Social Media Marketing, Data handling.
Chirag worked as a photographer and editing volunteer at the department's media team. He initiated diversification of the team which was initially only into clicking pictures, to making various videos for the departmental events, including Esprit, Thrive, Vistas et cetera. He established standards of work and delivery of pictures faster through cloud sharing. He made a team portfolio website and organised a media database for the department. He contributed ideas to market the team within the University, and brought together photography as a separate event in the department for intra-college cultural fest, Blossoms.
Student Welfare Office

The Student Welfare Office, is the highest Student Organisation in the campuses of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), which is the volunteer body or organiser for all Univesity Events. It is a perfect platform for students to network and meet talents from other departments of the University and make memories in creating and executing talent, lit, art events across the academic year. SWO conducts programs like DARPAN, BLOSSOMS and INBLOOM to identify and nurture talents and provide a platform for members to develop leadership skills.
Chirag was a media volunteer for various university events such as Nritta and Darpan. He worked for crowd management during ethnic day and Bhasha Utsav and helped in organising art and literature events for college fests.
Centre for Social Action (CSA) is a unique movement, where student communities are sensitised on various issues affecting the poor and marginalized sections of society. This is done so that they can internalize and personalize the issues and contribute to sustainable changes in the lives of the poor and the oppressed. Through such processes of involvement, CSA aims to enable the students to be aware of the social realities around them as well as impart them with ideas of how they can contribute towards the upliftment of unheeded sections.
Chirag participated in nature-walks, chat-over-coffee and blood donation events. As a part of the CSA team for the event Taped, he directed a documentary on the issues and problems faced by street vendors that won the competition. He contributed pictures for the CSA magazines – Milan and We Care.
Entrepreneurship Cell

The Entrepreneurship Cell, Department of Management Studies, Christ University is a forumto provide a common platform for students interested in entrepreneurship by providing them with opportunities to interact, learn and network with a multitude of people which includes investors, venture capitalists , industry experts and other aspiring entrepreneurs.The Cell offers extensive networking and surreal experiences that builds entrepreneurial spirit in students. It aims to motivate ambitious entrepreneurs by facilitating channels of valuable resources through which they can develop their concepts into effective business models. E-Cell also provide opportunities for existing small start-ups run by students to scale up and become sustainable businesses.
Chirag planned for and organised finances and flows for events, such as Keystone, Bid & Build, Ascend et cetera. He helped in recruitment for the new academic session and worked for the flagship event of E-cell - Edify as a media volunteer.
Student Council
Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar, NagpurStudent Council
To encourage the spirit of healthy competition, the student body is divided into four Houses as Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. The Students’ Council comprises the House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects. They are led by the School Captain and School Vice Captain. The Students’ Council meets regularly to discuss school issues and have a major say in the running of the school. There are regular Inter-House Competitions which are keenly contested. These include varied activities such as Performing and Visual Arts, Sports, etc including salad-dressing, rangoli, gift-wrapping, just to name a few.
Upholding the highest rank of School Captain, Chirag created and executed various team building events for the council members and the entire school to reinforce belief in school’s objectives and motto. He organised and coordinated all student activities and participation of the students for sports and cultural programs and competitions. He took initiative for starting the monitors meet to identify the problems faced by the students and solving their grievances.
Interact Club

The Interact Clubs at Centre Point group of schools were incorporated to spread awareness of the environment among the students, so that they can act purposefully within it. Under the expert guidance of the Rotary Club of Nagpur, a selected team of children takes on the duties at an installation ceremony held at the beginning of each academic year. The team chalks out a programme which includes activities that give each student freedom and direction to develop as a useful, happy and self reliant member of the society.
Chirag held the position of Treasurer at Interact Club at school. He managed collection and disposal of funds for the initiatives of Interact club which include blood donation camps, Christmas celebrations for poor kids and the communal harmony week.
