Chirag participated in the Vidhan Sabha Committee of the conference as the Minister of Finance of Gujarat as a part of his School's Delegation. The conference took place in GD Goenka International School, Surat and was also attended by state politicians and bureaucrats. He had prepared financial plans to reduce under-the-table transactions and improve transparency in the state finance operations and presented a plan of tax reforms that got a unanimous vote at the conference. The parliamentary style of debating involved one-on-one debates, winning which lead to him receiving a special mention at the conference. Along with it, they bagged the Best Delegation Trophy, which fetched the team an invitation for the International Championship Conference 2015 at Aamby Valley.
The IIMUN Championship conference was one of Asia's Biggest MUN Conferences that took place in Aamby Valley City in August 2015 and only the Best Delegations from all 100 chapter conferences are invited to participate. Chirag participated as the Delegate of Finland in the DISEC Committee, the agenda for which revolved around making Middle East a Nuclear Weapon Free Zone and Maintaining the Integrity of Former Soviet Republics. This championship conference received a video message from the Former Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban-Ki-Moon. There was an array of speakers present, with the likes of Dr. Kiran Bedi (Lt. Governor, Puducherry), Mrs. Vidya Balan (National Award Actress), Dr.Subhash Chandra Goel (Chairman, Essel Group), Mr. Martin Nesirky (Director, UN Vienna), Mr. Amish Tripathi (Author), Mr. Aitzaz Ahsan (Leader of Opposition, Pakistan), Mr. Ashley Lobo (Dance Maestro), Mr. Rajeev Dubey (President HR Mahindra), Mr. H. K. Dua (Indian Diplomat), Ms. Avani Davda (Former CEO, TATA Starbucks, India) Mr. William Yotive (Head of UN4MUN). The conference saw the participation of nearly 2100 delegates.
After having seen the level of experienced debating that took place in the previous MUN conferences, when IIMUN announced its chapter conference for the city of Nagpur, Chirag took the opportunity of being a campus ambassador and the OC head for organising the conference. He directly took the responsibility of arranging logistics and getting a participation of 300 students for the conference by travelling to 25 schools for orientations and coordinated sponsorships for the event. He was then rewarded for his efforts by being declared the Under Secretary General of the conference.

UNCTAD EDUCATION REFORMS CONFERENCE, NAGPUR
Chirag presented a working paper in the General Speakers list at the conference which intended to look for ideas and suggestions for forming a working paper on behalf of India's delegation for the UNCTAD Education Reforms Conference taking place in Nagpur. His working paper encompassed problems that India's education system needs to address on high priority and also taking suggestions from the Finnish education practices to improve the education delivery scenario in the country.
This conference was attended by the Municipal Commissioner and renowned academicians of the city and also received ideas in segments of rural education, entrepreneurial aspects in education, teacher selection processes, and volunteering based teaching.
LITMUN 2016
Chirag attended the LITMUN conference as the Guest Chair for the Human Rights Council committee along with Simran Sumbre from TISS. The agenda for the discussion here was - Freedom of Expression and Advocacy of Religious Hatred that constitute Incitement to Discrimination, Hostility and Violence. The conference had a participation of 200 young minds who enthusiastically came up with a unanimous working paper and resolution, making the committee a success!
