Centre Point School

Chirag's school journey has played a very important role in setting his foundations right. Having a taste of everything in school, the decisions he took for himself and the changes he made to his environment, gave him an ultimate experience as he transitioned from a silent & scared individual to a humble leader and a motivated team worker.

During his early years of schooling, he developed a very fond interest in environment protection. That's when he was adamant on using bicycles for commute and managed his commute to school and coaching center on his bicycle. He used to carry a point-and-shoot camera on which he used to capture people and moments which would seem rather ordinary to others. Since then, he became active in this field and grew a passion for photography.

He was elected as the School Captain for the year 2014-15 unanimously in a democratic voting system by students and teachers. For him achieving the post was only one part of the achievement, whereas living up to it was more important. He managed all regular school events in his capacity and overlooked a team of 26 student council members. He also developed a sense of initiative in school, where he started off models for a garbage free campus and monitor meets to increase interaction of council members with the students from all classes.

He founded a small informal NGO: UTH disguised as a group of youngsters, under which they initiated 9 projects to solve the issues around them along with managing studies.. He was sent for Model United Nations to Surat and Aamby Valley and interactions with students from other schools in forums and events.

Board Exams Performance -

Class XII (2016-17) - 93.2% (CBSE Commerce)

Class X (2014-15) - 95.2% (CBSE)

As a student, Chirag always believed in thinking out of the box and standing apart from the crowd. Below are examples of a few projects that he chose to do differently than others and fortunately these paid off well!

Presentation for career help to junior students
