The supervising administrator's influence on the quality of a candidate's experience is enormous. It is the supervising administrator who guides and assists the student in completing a successful and rewarding practicum. The student will benefit from modeling, constructive comments, and feedback. Feel free to contact the program coordinator at any time, particularly if problems arise or are anticipated.
Administrator is willing and committed to serve as a Supervising Administrator
Administrator demonstrates a strong ability to mentor a candidate
Administrator has at least three full years of administrator experience under the same license that the candidate is seeking
Administrator received a summative performance rating of Proficient or higher on most recent evaluation
Certain documents are required of the supervising administrator prior to the candidate beginning practicum. Candidates should work with their supervising administrators to ensure the following items are submitted to the department before practicum begins:

Bay Path University offers a stipend and PDPs to Supervising Administrators as a means of showing appreciation for the energy and direction provided to Bay Path University candidates. It is up to the Supervising Administrator to determine if they can accept a stipend from the University. All compensation selected by the supervising administrator will be issued toward the close of each practicum semester.
