Second Grade Week 7

1.)

I can type the right home row letters with the correct fingers.

We will be using our colored keyboards to discuss proper finger placement and how to tap each key on the right hand correctly.

You will be using your right hand to hop on the home row, then the left hand, and finally we will be doing both hands together. We want to really work on using the correct fingers for the correct keys.

I can add specific slide types to a presentation.

I can add pictures, transitions, and animations to a presentation.

We are going to go into the computer lab course and open the week 5-7 folder and the Kites Presentation Slides. Today we are going to add pictures to all slides, transitions to slides, and animate words and pictures on the slides.

How to add transitions

Professional Presentations don't have a lot of random transitions thrown into them. While it is fun to add a whole bunch of transitions to a presentation, it makes for a presentation that is hard for the viewer to pay attention to. We want to keep presentations simple and easy on the eyes. That way the view pays attention to the information, not all the crazy transitions.

How to choose a design theme

Design themes put together colors and fonts that go well together. They make a nice cohesive presentation. All the slide work with each other visually and help your audience focus on what you are saying.
