Student Council

BAS has a Student Council made up of students from grades 4-8.  All students in grades 3-8 and all full-time staff vote for the Student Council class officers. The officer positions are President and Vice President and there are two class representatives from each grade 4-7 homeroom.  All Student Council members should commit to serving for the full school year.  They should be an active voice for the students in their homerooms.  In addition, all members should model exemplary behavior.  If a student's behavior requires disciplinary action, administration reserves the right to consider their dismissal from Student Council.

Eighth Grade Class Officers

In eighth grade, students elect class officers that are instrumental in working with the 8th grade homeroom teacher to make decisions for their class and assist in student involvement during chapels.  These positions are President and Class Pastor.  These officers advocate for the 8th grade class.  In addition, officers should model exemplary behavior.  If a student's behavior requires disciplinary action, administration reserves the right to consider their dismissal from their position.
