Library

Students are encouraged to utilize the library. Each grade is scheduled to go to the library once a week. There are over 12,000 books in the library as well as current reference materials. The library holdings are added to annually and funded by a regularly budgeted line item.

The loan policies are as follows:

• K-1: one book per visit, checked out for one week.

• 2-8: two books per visit, checked out for two weeks.

• K-8: one DVD per visit, checked out for one week.

Books returned late: a fine of $.10 per day.

Lost books: students are charged the price of the book, shipping and handling and a $5.00 processing fee.
