Mums are located in America, East Asia, and northeastern Europe. Most species originate from East Asia and the center of diversity is in China.
Mums are perennial, however, they can and are often grown annually.
Mums can be used to treat chest pain (angina), high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, fever, cold, headache, dizziness, and swelling. You can also make summertime tea with it which is often seen in China.
There are about 40 different species of Mums. All these species belong to the daisy family.
Mums can grow upwards of 2-3 feet
To grow, the soil must be well drained and mums must be in full sun conditions and get good water to grow well.
