Written and edited by Katherine G. Lacson and Maria Karina Garilao with co-authors Vincent Bernabe, Felipe Horacio F. Marasigan III, Farrah Rodriguez, and Ciara Marasigan Serumgard. A powerhouse of contributors Juan Miguel F. Marasigan, Bladimer Usi +, Yeb Saño, Mother Mary John Mananzan O.S.B., Br. Armin Luistro FSC, Jose Lorenzo Tan, Neon Rosell II, Penn De Los Santos, Marivic Verdadero Maramot, Mark Anthony Carranza, and Rory Morales-Gutierrez joined forces to help bring Barako 77 to life.

Barako 77 chronicles how the people of San Juan successfully opposed a copper smelter and fertilizer complex that was already set by the national government to be built in their town.
