Vincent Bernabe is currently a graduate student at the Department of History, University of the Philippines-Diliman. He obtained his AB in History (Magna Cum Laude and Program Awardee) from Ateneo de Manila University in 2022. His broad research interests include the history of biomedicine and global health; science, technology and society; environmental history; economic history; and transnational and global history.
Bro. Armin A. Luistro, FSC from Lipa, Batangas, is the incumbent and first Filipino Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He served as Secretary of the Department of Education of the Philippines under President Benigno Aquino III. He held various positions in governmental and intergovernmental organizations, such as the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines and the South East Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO).
Sr. Mary John Mananzan, O.S.B., is an educator, feminist activist, and scholar. She was the National Chairperson of GABRIELA for eighteen years and has led women-centered programs. The Institute of Women’s Studies, Women Ecology and Wholeness Farm, and the Women Crisis Center are among them. She continues to give lectures and seminars on Eco-Feminist-Creation-Centered Spirituality, Women’s Issues, Globalization, and Transformational Education.
Felipe Horacio “Zig” Marasigan III is a writer-director with experience in advertising, film, television, and online content production. He is currently based in Manila, Philippines, but his passion for stories can be traced back to his roots in San Juan, Batangas.
Yeb Saño is an environment and climate justice activist. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Greenpeace Southeast Asia. He was Commissioner of the Philippines’ Climate Change Commission and the Philippines’ Chief Negotiator in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) widely known for championing climate justice and the voice of the developing world in the climate negotiations. As the founder of The Climate Pilgrimage, Yeb has led long-distance marches in the Philippines and across the world to highlight the urgency of the climate crisis.
Jose Ma. Lorenzo Tan is a Board Trustee of the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (2009 to 2023) and serves as the Vice Chairman of the WWF National Advisory Council in the Philippines. Lory is a founding member of the Board of Brain Trust, Inc. — A Filipino sustainable development consultancy. Lory is also the author of A Field Guide to Whales and Dolphins in the Philippines and The Last Great Forest: Luzon’s Northern Sierra Madre National Park.
