Design 1, 2, & 3, Ceramics 1, 2, & 3, Directed Studies, AP 2D & 3D DesignMr. Somxay Thammas (Somsai Thomas) graduated from H.P. Baldwin High School and the University of Hawaii-Manoa, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Masters of Education in Teaching Secondary Art.
Prior to teaching, Mr. Thammas worked as a multi-faceted and multi-disciplined designer and art director with over 18 years of professional experience, 12 of those years of running his own graphic & web design company. He spearheaded and art directed the marketing, design, and production of numerous projects and collateral materials for a wide range of clients. He specializes in branding and identity systems, as well as multimedia, web design, and development. His work has been recognized with numerous awards in both advertising and design.
