Alternative English curriculum is listed in the sub categories by year and semester. Please check with Mr. Smith on what subject you are currently taking. Each unit has requirements that are needed to complete before you take the test. Once you complete each unit, please go to the following site for testing on each unit:
Students are to take Cornell Notes on the attached units. Each unit must have 5+ pages of notes before the student can attempt the unit test. Mr. Smith's authorization is required to take the test. Students may use Google Docs to take notes, but must show original note taking skills that are approved by Mr. Smith. Students will need to write a plot outline for each work. For poems, students will need to annotate the poem. Use the following for assistance:
