4/7/20: Make-up Chromebook Distribution

We started our distance learning this week and your child should have logged in to Google Classroom for all of their classes by now. We are proud to announce that we have checked out over 800 chromebooks to support our students. We will hold a makeup chromebook distribution day on Tuesday, April 14th, in the stadium parking lot, from 8:00am-10:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm. Please make sure your student is logging in to their Google Classrooms each and every day. Students should contact their teachers and counselors, by email, if they have any questions or concerns. 4/1/20: Technology Agreement for Chromebook Distribution

At AVHS we are doing our best to support students in distance learning by providing them with technology. Due to COVID-19 we are trying to limit person-to-person contact. With that being said, we will distribute Chromebooks via a drive-thru style set up in the stadium lot. Please see our website for checkout times. During check out, you will show your student ID and you will then be given a Chromebook to check out and a form that explains your responsibilities for the device.

Technology Agreement: https://drive.google.com/a/avhsd.org/file/d/17WvsluCJqAlxTQ9iU6vS9L1cGdKnhIK9/view?usp=sharing

4/1/20: Chromebook Distribution

Beginning Thursday, April 2 we will begin distributing Chromebooks to assist students without access to technology.

Due to the limited number of devices, we ask that only those families without a computer check out a device. At this time, we will only be distributing one device per family. We have prioritized device check-out to start with seniors, followed by juniors, then sophomores and freshmen.

Technology will be distributed in a “drive-thru” set up in our stadium parking lot. Students will need to present their school ID in order to check out a device.
