What can I do if I have failed a class?
Attend Summer School. You may repeat up to 10 credits of a class(es) in summer school.
Opportunity: If you've failed multiple classes, your counselor may change your schedule to work with Mr. Butterfield during multiple periods of your school day where you can complete work in APEX. Students will typically remain in their math and PE classes. This option is for Freshmen and Sophomores only.
Senior Supplemental Instruction (SSI): You may sign up for SSI with a designated teacher who will give you online and/or packet work to complete in order to improve your grades or obtain missing credits.
What will happen if I fail multiple classes?
If you are a freshman or a sophomore, you will be placed in "Opportunity" classes with Mr. Butterfield. These "Opportunity" classes will replace 3-4 of your core classes, and you will work on APEX to complete missing credits. You will remain in your math and PE classes.
