10th Grade

You've completed your first year of high school and now you're a Sophomore.

What's next??

1. Summer School: If a student failed a course in their 9th grade year, we encourage them to repeat any failed course(s) in summer school. This will help to stay on track for graduation and avoid possibly having to attend On Site Continuation or Desert Winds High School as alternative placements.

2. Get involved! We love it when our students participate in the numerous clubs and sports offered at Antelope Valley High School. Stop by the Activities office, which is located in the main Administration building on campus, to ask questions about what clubs are on campus, how to join, or sign up to play a sport! Interested in joining a sport or club on campus? Click here to fill out our survey!

3. Tutoring: If you're in need of additional support in your classes, please come to tutoring! We offer tutoring on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the AVHS Library from 2:35PM - 3:35PM.

4. Brag Sheet: If you're planning to apply to college, a scholarship, or a job, you may want to consider starting a brag sheet and updating it during your time at AVHS! Click here for the brag sheet. Please make a copy for yourself before editing the document.

5. Daily Progress Report: Need some accountability? You can use the Daily Progress Report sheet to help you stay on track! This form asks about attendance, homework, and more. Click here to access the DPR.
