The Student Success Showcase is a conference-style poster session where students demonstrate how the four components of successful learning—Skill, Will, Self-Regulation, and Academic Environment—work together to influence academic achievement.
Rather than simply describing concepts, students create an evidence-based "Student Success Blueprint" that applies course theories, self-reflection, and practical strategies to a realistic college experience.

Assignment Instructions
Throughout the semester you have learned that academic success is influenced by more than intelligence or effort alone.
This assignment begins by:
1) Identifying and academic habit that you want to improve
2) submitting a Action Plan for approval where you identify what habits you need to establish that will support your stated SMART goal.
Once your Action Plan is approved, you will spend three weeks actively working on your new habits, keeping detailed data as you go. You will then:
2) create a professional academic poster that demonstrates how the four components of the Model of Strategic Leanring interact and support your academic success.
During our class Poster Session, you will present your poster to classmates, answer questions, and explain how the ideas from this course can be used by college students.
